In the Sanatan tradition, Vaishvadev is regarded as a highly sacred and significant daily spiritual practice. In ancient times, it was customary to perform Vaishvadev before partaking in food. However, over the past few decades, this sacred fire ritual tradition has gradually declined and become less prevalent.
Recognizing the importance of this ancient Havan tradition, Revered Gurudev has prepared a simple, accessible, and scripturally aligned method that can be easily practiced by seekers. For the past thirty years, many of Gurudev’s listeners and initiated seekers have been regularly performing this Havan practice according to this method.
Considering the growing interest of seekers in spiritual practices and their sincere requests, Revered Gurudev has compiled this Havan procedure in the form of a book. While offering oblations (ahuti) of sacred materials (havir dravya) accompanied by the chanting of mantras, many seekers experience deep inner peace, serenity, and spiritual fulfillment.
Chitshakti Havan and Vaishvadev is not merely a book explaining the procedure of Havan; it is a valuable spiritual guide that reconnects seekers with the ancient Vedic tradition and provides a path toward inner purification, devotion, and spiritual elevation.
