Revered Gurudev Shrinivasji is the present-day Acharya (spiritual preceptor) of the Shri Vidya Akhand Mahayoga tradition. This book provides a profound introduction to the spiritual philosophy, principles, and lineage of Shri Vidya, Mahayoga, and Akhand Mahayoga.

It explains essential questions such as: What is Shri Vidya? What is Mahayoga? What is the fundamental qualitative difference between Akhand Mahayoga (the uninterrupted, complete path of Yoga) and Khand Yoga (the partial or limited path)? The philosophical and doctrinal foundation of this tradition is presented in a clear and systematic manner.

In the present Shwetavaraha Kalpa, the primary source and original exponent of this tradition is regarded as Lord Shri Dakshinamurti. From Lord Dakshinamurti, this divine lineage continued through an unbroken flow and reached Adi Shankaracharya. Subsequently, Adi Shankaracharya appointed nine householder disciples and five celibate disciples as Acharyas. This book presents the history of these Acharyas and explains how this sacred tradition continued to flourish through them.

The book also describes how this lineage ultimately reached Revered Gurudev Shrinivasji and explains the manner in which Gurudev received divine initiation and grace (Anugraha) from both celibate and householder Acharyas of this tradition.
